What is a wax melt?

A Wax melt is a scented peice of wax that you heat up using either a electric burner or a tea light burner. Once heated the wax will release the infused scent filling your home with a beautiful fragrance. The intensity of the fragrance will depend on the size of your room, the burner and the amount of wax used. For best results always close the windows in the room you are burning the wax and place the burner away from drafts.

Safety Advice

Never leave a burner unattended. Never attempt to move a hot burner. Use a 4 hour tealight rather than the 8 hour versions. The 8 hour tealights cause the wax to overheat. Although some items may look and smell ediable please note they are not! Please check the packaging for any allgen advice. All ingredients are listed on the Clp labels. Do not overfill your burner.

Removing and cleaning

Once the scent has been used. The burner can be easily cleaned by heating the wax up for a short amount of time and applying pressure to one end of the wax. This should allow the wax to pop out. You could also use a cotton ball or pad to soak up the melted wax.
